Jorge Brandão

Jorge Brandão is the chief executive officer of Telcom Towers/Rede Sul, an Alothon portfolio company, and has worked with the Alothon team in 2000 when he became the CEO of RMD, a Fund I portfolio investment. Mr. Brandão began his professional career at CPT Corporation, an information technology manufacturer based in Minneapolis, MN, USA, where he worked from 1979 to 1985 and where he started as an international management trainee and became the regional manager for international sales. Following this period in the United States, Mr. Brandão moved to Brazil to work in the banking sector from 1985 to 1993 where he held various management positions in the Consumer Services Group and Credit Card businesses of Citibank. In 1994 Mr. Brandão became the chief executive officer of Teletrim (a joint venture between Mtel Int'l and Victori Comunicações), a paging company that was in the start-up phase and which later became the largest paging operator in Brazil. From 1996 to 1999 Mr. Brandão managed the start-up and implementation of paging operations for Mtel Int'l in San Juan, PR, USA and for PCS-Acess and Directel in São Paulo. Mr. Brandão received high school diploma from Bakersfield High in California, USA, business administration degree from Fundação Getulio Vargas in São Paulo and attended the executive M.B.A. program from University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, USA.
