Paulo Barreto has over 20 years of experience investing and managing in companies in Brazil. He is currently the CEO of Casadoce, an Alothon portfolio company, which he advised in sourcing as an investment opportunity. In 1996, he co-founded Atmosfera Gestão e Higienização de Têxteis ("Atmosfera"), an industrial laundry services company. He served as the Company's CEO between 1996 and 2008. During his tenure, he consolidated the market by acquiring eleven competitors, diversified the Company into new segments and expanded the Company into new regions. In 2004, he sold a majority stake of Atmosfera to Advent International and continued to be its CEO. At the time of his departure, the Company had revenues of $110 million, EBITDA margin of 19%, 3,200 employees and was a leader in its space. Prior to founding Atmosfera, Mr. Barreto worked in the Brazilian financial sector. Mr. Barreto holds a bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad Mackenzie in São Paulo.
